This ceramic horse head figure is handmade and inspired by knight piece in chess. It is a lovely home or office decor, or a great gift for chess lovers. It has a special glaze with warm undertones.

For the chess lovers: The ‘Knight’ is named differently in different languages. Usually it is a horse (eg Turkish at, Chinese ma, Dutch paard, Javanese jaran) or a rider (French cavalier, Czech jezdec, German cavalo) or a horse with a rider (Finnish ratsu) or a kind of rider (English knight, Irish ridire).

Each sculpture is shipped inside a thick walled cardboard box with a custom-designed padding. For each object I make sure the ceramic figure is secure and not moving.
